Access is Everything!
Growth is not a bad thing. But too much growth too fast presents a set of challenges often overlooked when discussing small businesses. The emphasis tends to center on the marketing and promotion necessary to grow your business, and not on the business infrastructure needed to scale your business in a sustainable manner. These back-office operations can make or break your business, especially when you have more demand than your business is currently capable of supplying. What’s worse is that when you try to look for cures for these back-office blues, you might find that the resources either are reserved for manufacturing and enterprise-level companies or are prohibitively expensive.
Hi, I’m Alicia. Like you, I own a small business and I’m committed to providing you with the resources and tools you need to operate your business for sustainable success.
14 years ago, I founded Equilibria, Inc., an operations management firm specializing in business infrastructure for fast-growing small businesses. It’s here where I first formulated the KasennuTM methodology for business infrastructure. I’ve since successfully applied this methodology in over 30 different industries and counting.
Because of my B.S. in Chemical Engineering and my MBA, I’m able to blend science, math, and business to solve complex operational problems in a unique, yet practical way. I’m also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and I’ve authored over 250 original articles, case studies, videos and white papers in the areas of business infrastructure, process improvement, and operational excellence. In fact, Equilibria is the world’s largest repository on business infrastructure.
BusinessInfrastructure.TV represents the media arm of Equilibria and is an extension of my commitment to provide access to operations resources for small businesses. It includes the weekly Business Infrastructure: Curing Back Office Blues podcast as well as presentations and videos, offering you a variety of ways to consume information. There’s also information about my recent book, Behind the Façade: How to Structure Company Operations for Sustainable Success, which debuted on Amazon as the #1 New Release for business books in the Production and Operations category.
May you find all of this information to be useful on your journey toward mega success!

This is clearly a topic that entrepreneurs and business owners are interested in as evidenced by our listenership. The Business Infrastructure podcast currently reaches listeners in 35 countries and in one year has been downloaded over 307,000 times!
